In fact, it was prof Goldschmidt who facilitated my going to the univ of calif in 1963. His two books the sebei law and culture and behavior of the sebei people have been out of print for some time now. I do not know if you managed to get one.]]></description>

That sense that those of us who self-identify as Bohemian are, in some sense, almost doomed to live a double life, a compromise (what the kids call a &quot;sell out&quot;), unless we have the opportunity and temerity to completely drop off the grid or at least, out of middle class society. 

The gravitational pull of &quot;the good life&quot; is amazing, even when it doesn&#039;t correspond to our personal definition of &quot;the good life&quot;.]]></description>
